Ethereal Mix #2 (Detroit Deep)
July 28, 2009 01:23 PM PDT
I found the original mp3 file of one of my all time favorite mixes I posted on another dj site back in the late Spring 2009. I called this Detroit Deep,it starts out with A deep hypnotic arrangement of ethereal deep house and I take it to the Detroit Techno and jackin house tip.

Podcast SummaryWelcome to my podcast page and thanks for paying my site a visit. I want to thank everyone who has been downloading my mixes and bringing me up in the ranks of podomatic. To those of you who don't know, this is my second coming on podomatic.com. My original site was my Dj name: johndatech.podomatic.com and I took the page down after 9 months because the downloads were exceeding my monthly bandwidth and I did not want to take it to the next pro level. I experimented at other sites and decided to return and name my site ethereal-house. Being a Dj whether at a club or at home (like in my position) is an expensive endeavor. If you enjoy my music, show your support by donating to my paypal link to help bring future programming. A bit about my podcasts:
I have been a Detroit Techno and Deep House Head since 1988. I have seen house music transform and evolve into different genres of music these past 21 years. And like Mr. V, I love Deep House. My inspiration to this devotion were some of the early pioneering Dj's like Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Junior Vazquez who mixed House, Deep House, early trance, and Techno into their sets. I still hold close to my heart those fond memories of the Sound Factory Bar, The Underground, Red Zone, Limelight, Club USA, Roxy, and The Palladium. The name ethereal-house was first used by a local dj who hosted a show on WNYU FM in 1990. Ethereal which means refine was to used to describe some of the best instrumental house music that came out of Italy, Chicago, and NYC (particular Nugroove Records label), i.e. Whistle Song, Song of the Siren, Calypso of House. The music program came on every day at 11:00PM and I would fall asleep listening to some great music which was sponsored by Discorama Records in Greenwhich Village (NYC). A little bit about me:
Peace. About DonArchitect, photographer, cyclist, father, husband.
